Summary in plain words
- These terms are an agreement between you and Microtron AI Inc., the company that runs Verse Realm. By using Verse, you accept them.
- You must be at least 13, and 18 to use Verse Studio’s AI generation, voice and likeness tools. Keep your account safe. You’re responsible for what happens on it.
- What you make and upload stays yours. You let us store, process and show it so that Verse can work.
- AI can be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it. AI answers are not medical, legal or financial advice.
- VXT are credits for using Verse. They have no cash value, can’t be cashed out, and purchases are final. If an AI request fails, its VXT come back to you automatically.
- Plans renew every month until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time.
- When you connect other accounts or let agents act for you, they act with your permission. You decide what to allow, and you’re responsible for what it does.
- Be fair to others: no illegal content, harassment, scams, or misuse of other people’s work, voice or likeness.
- Never make or share sexual or intimate images of a real person without their consent, including AI-made ones. If someone has done that to you, report it and we remove it within 48 hours.
- We provide Verse “as is”, and our liability is limited. Sections 20 and 21 explain how.
- Questions? E-mail data@microtronai.com.
This summary helps you find your way. The full terms below are the ones that apply.
1. About these terms #
These terms of service (“terms”) are an agreement between you and Microtron AI Inc. (“Microtron AI”, “we”, “us”). They cover your use of Verse Realm at www.verse-realm.app and every Verse product, app, page, API and service we offer. In these terms we call all of that “Verse”.
By creating an account or using Verse, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Verse.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Please read it as well.
Some features have extra rules that we show where you use them, such as a checkout page or the price shown before an AI request. Those rules add to these terms. If your organisation has signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.
If you use Verse for an organisation, you accept these terms for it, and you confirm that you’re allowed to.
2. What Verse is #
Verse is a set of connected products that share one account and one VXT balance. It includes:
- Verse AI: an AI chat and research assistant, with workflows, routines and agents.
- Versonas: AI avatars with a 3D body, a voice, knowledge files and tools.
- Verse Studio: tools to make and edit pictures, video, sound and music, with or without AI.
- Verse Link and Verse Social: messaging, calls, posts, groups, videos and live streams.
- Versity: lessons, courses, and spaces for schools and universities.
- Workflows: automations that can connect to other apps and services.
- And more: Verse Vault, TRAVERSE, COSMOS and XR worlds, the App Store, Verse Health, PhytoByte and developer tools.
Verse keeps changing. We may add, change or remove features. Some features are previews or demos. They may be unfinished, may change without notice, and may show example data instead of yours. Don’t rely on them for anything important.
3. Your account #
Who can use Verse
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- You must be 18 or older to use Verse Studio’s AI generation, voice and likeness tools (making images, video, voices and music with AI, voice change, dubbing, lip-sync and character swap). The AI providers behind them require it.
- If you’re under 18, or under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms with you. You need their permission to buy VXT or a plan.
- You can’t use Verse if the law forbids it, or if we have closed your account before for breaking these terms.
Keeping your account safe
- Give us accurate information, and keep your e-mail address current. We use it to reach you.
- Keep your password, sign-in links and developer keys private. Don’t share your sign-in with anyone.
- You’re responsible for everything done with your account and keys. If you think someone else is using them, change your password and tell us straight away.
- An account is for one person. To share a plan with your team, use team seats (section 10).
If someone invites you to a call with a guest link, you can join without an account. These terms still apply to what you do on the call.
4. Using Verse responsibly #
Verse is shared by many people. When you use it, don’t:
- break the law, or help someone else break it;
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or attack people for who they are;
- create, edit or share sexual content involving minors, real or AI-made (we report it to the authorities);
- create, edit or share sexually explicit or intimate images, video or audio of a real person without their consent, including AI-generated or AI-altered ones, such as deepfakes or edits that undress someone (how to report them);
- share sexual or graphically violent content with people who haven’t chosen to see it, or where minors may see it;
- pretend to be another person or organisation, or present AI-made content as real in a way that misleads people;
- use AI to impersonate election candidates or officials, or to mislead people about when, where or how to vote;
- share other people’s personal information or private messages without their permission;
- use someone else’s work, brand or trade secrets without the right to;
- send spam, scams or unwanted bulk messages, including through workflows, e-mail, SMS or chat connectors;
- upload malware, or probe, scan, overload or attack Verse or anyone through it;
- get around our security, rate limits, plan limits, payment checks or content filters;
- collect data from Verse in bulk, except through an API we offer for that purpose;
- ask AI for help to cause serious harm, such as making weapons or attacking computer systems;
- use AI output alone to make decisions with serious effects on people, such as about jobs, housing, credit, school results or health, without a person checking it;
- use bugs or tricks to get VXT, rewards or features you didn’t pay for (please tell us instead);
- resell Verse or access to it without our written permission.
If you break these rules, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account (section 19). We may look at content when we have a reason to, for example after a report. We don’t check everything, and we aren’t responsible for what other users post.
You can report content or behaviour that breaks these rules by e-mailing data@microtronai.com. For intimate images, follow the steps in section 7 so we can remove them within 48 hours.
5. Your content #
“Your content” is anything you upload, write, record, generate or publish on Verse. That includes messages, posts, files, prompts, Versona knowledge files, workflows, courses, apps and creations.
You own it
You keep ownership of your content. We don’t claim it.
The permission you give us
To run Verse, we need your permission to handle your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, send, adapt and display your content. Adapting means things like resizing, converting a file’s format, transcribing or translating. We use this licence only to run, protect and improve Verse, and to show your content to the people you choose.
The licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, with three exceptions:
- copies that other people already have, such as messages you sent or files you shared;
- copies in our backups, which are removed over time;
- content we must keep by law.
Public content and shared links
When you make something public, such as a public post, a published album, a shared Studio link, an App Store listing or a public course page, anyone can see it, including people without a Verse account. Your licence to us then also covers showing it publicly, including in preview cards on other websites.
Anyone who has a share link can open what it points to. Treat a link like the file itself.
Your promises about your content
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, and that it doesn’t break these terms or the law.
AI training
As our Privacy Policy says, we don’t use your private content, your conversations or the data of the accounts you connect to train AI models.
Keep your own copies
We work to keep your content safe, but Verse isn’t a backup service. Keep copies of anything you can’t afford to lose.
6. AI features and what they produce #
Many parts of Verse use AI, including chat, research, Versonas, Studio, workflows, agents, tutors, translation and speech.
Who processes your request
Most AI requests run on our servers and on the servers of AI providers we work with. To produce a result, we send them your prompt and the files or context the feature needs. Studio shows which provider each model comes from. Some features can run AI on your own device instead of on our servers.
AI can be wrong
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, biased or offensive, even when it sounds certain. It can get facts about people, places and events wrong. Check anything that matters before you use it or share it. AI output is not professional advice.
Who owns the output
Between you and us, you own the output you create with Verse’s AI features, as far as the law allows anyone to own it. We transfer to you any rights we have in it. Other people may receive similar output, and your ownership doesn’t cover theirs. In some countries, AI-made work gets little or no copyright protection.
You’re responsible for how you use output, including making sure it doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights. Follow your school’s or employer’s rules about using AI.
Versonas are software
A Versona, an AI tutor or an AI agent is software, even when it has a name, a face and a voice. Human Answers is different: there, a real person answers your question, and people can be wrong too.
Limits
We may limit how much AI you can use, refuse some requests, or filter output, to keep Verse safe and working.
7. Voices, faces, AI-made media and intimate images #
Verse Studio can change voices, dub a video into another language, sync lips to a voice track, and swap or animate the person in a video. These tools are powerful, so they come with firm rules.
- Voices: only clone, design, change or dub a voice that is yours, or one whose owner has clearly agreed. When Studio asks you to confirm consent, your answer must be true.
- Faces and likeness: only upload, swap, animate or lip-sync a real person’s face or body if that person has agreed, or a parent or guardian has for a child. Don’t use Verse to make it look as if a real person said or did something they didn’t, in a way that could mislead people or harm them.
- Never sexual: never make sexual or intimate images, video or audio of a real person without their consent, and never of a minor, whatever anyone agrees to.
- Recording calls: anyone on a Verse Link call can record it. If you record, tell the others first and follow the law where each of you is. In some places, everyone on the call must agree.
- Other people’s information: don’t upload other people’s personal information to a Versona, a workflow or a post unless you’re allowed to.
AI-made and AI-altered media
- Say when it’s AI-made. When you share realistic AI-generated or AI-altered images, video or audio of real people or real events, make clear that they were made or changed with AI, as the law requires in many places, including the European Union. Work that is obviously art, satire or fiction needs only a light label that doesn’t spoil it.
- Keep the marks. Don’t remove or hide the watermarks, labels or provenance information that AI providers add to their output.
- Providers’ rules apply too. Each Studio model comes from a provider whose usage policy also applies to what you make with it, such as Google’s Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, OpenAI’s usage policies and ElevenLabs’ Prohibited Use Policy. Where their rules are stricter than ours, theirs apply. We and our providers may refuse or filter requests.
- Output may not be unique. Others may get similar results (section 6). If a result is cancelled, fails or times out, its VXT come back to you in full (section 9).
Report intimate images
If an intimate image or video of you is on Verse without your consent, including an AI-made one, tell us and we will remove it. You can also ask for someone you are authorised to act for. You don’t need a Verse account.
E-mail data@microtronai.com with the subject “Intimate image removal” and include:
- your signature: typing your full name is enough;
- where the image is: a link to it, or enough detail for us to find it, such as who posted it, where and when;
- a short statement that you believe in good faith that it was shared without consent (and, if you act for someone else, that you are authorised to);
- how we can reach you.
We reply with a reference number. We remove the image as soon as we can, and no later than 48 hours after we receive a valid request, and we make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies on Verse. We may suspend or close the accounts that shared it, and we report sexual images of minors to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Knowingly false requests break these terms.
To help stop an image spreading on other sites too, you can use Take It Down (if you were under 18 in it) or StopNCII.org.
8. Connected accounts, workflows and agents #
You can connect Verse to other services, such as e-mail, calendars, chat apps, storage, stores and payment tools. You can then build workflows, routines and agents that act on them.
- Verse acts for you. It uses the access you give it. We store your credentials encrypted and use them only to run what you set up.
- Google data: we use data from a Google account you connect only as section 5 of our Privacy Policy describes, under Google’s Limited Use requirements. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.
- You decide what to allow. Some actions ask for your approval first. If you turn on Auto mode, or set a workflow to run on a schedule, a webhook or an event, actions run without asking each time.
- You’re responsible for the results. That includes messages your workflows and agents send, records they change, and charges they cause with other services.
- Verse system tools: we also publish tools that Verse AI and Versonas can use for you, with your own connected accounts. Tools that only look things up may run straight away. Tools that take an action always ask you first.
- Automations can go wrong. They can fail, run twice or do something you didn’t expect. Test a workflow before you rely on it.
- Outside input: if a workflow starts from a webhook or an incoming message, whoever sends it can influence what the workflow does. Build it with that in mind.
- Other services’ rules: follow the terms of each service you connect, and laws about messages, such as getting consent before you send texts or marketing e-mail.
- Your computer: Versona Desktop can run commands and code on a computer you pair with it. Only pair computers you control.
- Disconnecting: you can remove a connection at any time in Connector settings. You may also need to remove Verse’s access in the other service.
9. VXT credits #
VXT (sometimes called tokens) are prepaid credits. You use them to pay for AI features and some other things on Verse. You get VXT by buying them, through a plan, or by earning them with certain features. The current price is on the Buy VXT page.
How you spend VXT
- Each AI request costs VXT. Where we can, we show the price before you start.
- Some features, such as AI chat, are priced by how much text the AI reads and writes. We set aside an estimate when you start, then charge the actual amount when the reply is done.
- Some Studio tools hold the most a job could cost, then return what wasn’t used when the result comes back.
When something fails
You don’t pay for an AI request that fails, is cancelled before it finishes, times out or comes back empty. Its VXT return to your balance automatically. If a task with several steps stops part-way, you pay only for the steps that finished.
What VXT are not
- VXT have no cash value. They aren’t money, a deposit or an investment, and they aren’t your property. We give you a licence to use them on Verse.
- You can’t exchange VXT for cash, sell them, or give them to another person, except where a Verse feature moves them as payment, such as buying a course or an event ticket.
- Buying or selling VXT outside Verse isn’t allowed.
Refunds and expiry
- VXT purchases are final, apart from the automatic returns above or where the law requires a refund. If you think we charged you by mistake, contact us and we’ll look into it.
- VXT in your balance, whether bought, earned or included with a plan, don’t expire while your account is open.
- If you close your account, any VXT left are lost, unless the law says otherwise. Section 19 explains what happens if we close it.
Earning VXT
Some features pay VXT to users, such as tutorial quest rewards, Human Answers, course sales and event tickets (section 12). Earned VXT follow the same rules as bought ones. Rewards may need a verified e-mail address, have limits, and can change or end.
Mistakes and misuse
We may correct balance errors. We may take back VXT gained through fraud, bugs, refunded or disputed payments, or breaking these terms.
10. Subscriptions and automatic renewal #
We offer monthly plans for Verse, Versonas and Workflows, each with Individual, Small Business and Enterprise tiers. Verse Studio has its own plans. Each plan page shows the price, what the plan includes and its limits before you subscribe. Without a plan, you can still use Verse within the free limits.
How renewal and cancelling work
Your plan renews automatically every month. We charge your payment method each month, at the price shown when you subscribed plus any tax, until you cancel.
You can cancel online at any time. Cancel Verse, Versona and Workflow plans from your account page. Cancel a Verse Studio plan from the billing page that Studio opens.
Cancelling stops all future charges. When you cancel from your account page, the plan ends straight away. The Verse Studio billing page shows the date your plan ends. We don’t refund part of a month you’ve already paid for, unless the law requires it. VXT already in your balance stay there.
- Included VXT: a plan adds its monthly VXT to your balance each time a monthly payment succeeds. Changing plans in the middle of a month doesn’t add a second allowance.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, you keep your plan for a short grace period (currently 3 days) while we try again. After that, the plan’s features stop until a payment succeeds.
- Price changes: we’ll tell you about a price increase before it applies to you, with time to cancel first.
- Team seats: some plans let you add other Verse users as seat members. They get the plan’s tier and limits, but not your monthly VXT. You’re responsible for who you add.
11. Payments and taxes #
- Stripe, our payment provider, processes payments. You enter your card details on Stripe’s page. We don’t store full card numbers.
- Prices are in US dollars unless we show otherwise. Taxes may be added where they apply.
- By paying, you allow us and Stripe to charge your payment method for what you buy, and for each renewal of a plan.
- If you dispute a charge with your bank, we may pause your plan or the VXT from that payment until the dispute is settled. Please contact us first. We can often fix the problem faster.
12. Creators, sellers and earnings #
Verse lets people share and sell what they make. Here is how each place works today:
- Versity courses: instructors make courses free or set a price in VXT. When a student enrols in a paid course, the instructor receives 70% of the price in VXT, and we keep the rest. Enrolments are final unless the law requires a refund.
- Event tickets: hosts of ticketed XR events set the ticket price in VXT, and receive what buyers pay.
- Human Answers: when you ask a person instead of the AI, the VXT for your question are held. The person who answers receives them. If nobody has answered after 5 minutes, you can take your question back and get all of the VXT back. Questions that nobody answers within 2 hours are returned automatically.
- Channel memberships: paid memberships on Verse live channels cost VXT for 30 days, and they don’t renew automatically.
- App Store: you can submit apps. We review submissions, and we may refuse or remove an app at any time. A published app is available to every Verse user. You’re responsible for your app, its code and what it does.
- Studio publishing: publishing an album, a video or a fan post makes it public.
How earnings work
- Earnings are paid in VXT only. We don’t pay creators in cash, and earned VXT can’t be cashed out (section 9).
- We may hold, reverse or remove earnings linked to fraud, disputed payments or breaking these terms.
- You’re responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
- You let us show your name, your listing and a preview of your work on Verse, to present and promote it.
13. Schools, universities and other institutions #
Schools, universities and companies can set up spaces on Verse, with classes, live and recorded sessions, homework, XR classrooms and AI teaching tools.
- The institution is in charge. It decides who joins, what is taught and what is shared. Its administrators and teachers are responsible for how their members use Verse.
- Permissions and consent. The institution must get any permission or consent the law requires from students and parents, for example under student privacy laws.
- Students under 13. An institution must not add students under 13 unless it has a written agreement with us that covers them.
- Connecting a learning management system. If an institution connects its learning management system (LMS) to Verse, information such as names, roles, class lists and grades can pass between the two. This link is optional, and the institution controls it.
- AI in learning. AI tutors, generated lessons, automatic grading and proctoring tools can make mistakes. Teachers, not the AI, make the final decisions on grades and academic honesty.
- Packages. The features and price of an institution’s package are shown when it signs up. A separate agreement may also apply.
14. Health, money and other serious decisions #
- Health: Verse Health helps you keep health records, measurements and device data in one place. Verse Health, Versonas, Verse AI, PhytoByte and the rest of Verse are not medical devices. They don’t give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always ask a qualified professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
- Money and law: market data, calculators and AI answers about money, tax or law are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
- Science and maths: answers from PhytoByte and other solvers can be wrong. Check them before you use them in lab, medical, engineering or safety work.
15. Developers and the API #
Developers can call Verse from their own apps, as described on our developer page.
- Keys: you create developer API keys, each a key and a secret, from your account. Keep them secret. Anyone with both can use Verse as you.
- Charges: every API call is charged to the VXT of the key’s owner, at the prices in effect when you make it.
- Limits: follow our rate limits and documentation, and don’t try to get around them.
- Your app and its users: you’re responsible for your app and for how its users use Verse through it. Give your users your own terms and privacy notice, and get any consent the law requires. Don’t let them do anything these terms forbid.
- Protecting your data: Versonas reached through the API get only tools that don’t touch your connected accounts or your data.
- Agent frameworks: if you connect your own agent framework to the Verse AI agents API, these terms apply to that use too.
- Reselling: don’t resell plain access to the API without our written permission.
- Changes: we may change, limit or retire parts of the API. We’ll try to give notice before changes that break existing apps. We may turn off keys we believe are compromised or misused.
16. Other companies’ services #
Verse links to and works with services we don’t control. Examples include the apps you connect, payments through Stripe, sign-in with Google or Microsoft, maps and market data. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We aren’t responsible for their content, their availability or what they do with your information.
17. Our rights in Verse #
- Verse, its software and design, and our names and logos (including Verse, Versona, Versity, TRAVERSE and COSMOS) belong to Microtron AI or our licensors.
- We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Verse under these terms. We can withdraw it if you break them.
- Don’t copy, change, sell or reverse-engineer Verse, except where the law allows. Don’t use our names or logos without our permission.
- You can use the templates, presets, sample media and models we provide in what you make on Verse. Don’t extract them and share them as separate assets.
- If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely and without paying you.
- Open-source parts of Verse keep their own licences.
18. Copyright complaints #
We respect other people’s rights. If you believe content on Verse infringes your copyright, send a notice to our copyright agent. Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature, or that of the person allowed to act for the copyright owner;
- the copyrighted work you say is infringed (or, for many works, a representative list);
- the content you say infringes, with enough detail for us to find it, such as its link;
- your name, postal address, phone number and e-mail address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn’t allowed by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are allowed to act for the owner.
Our copyright agent: [Owner to fill in: name of the designated copyright agent, as registered with the US Copyright Office], Microtron AI Inc., 4715 W Bay View, Tampa, FL 33614. Phone: [Owner to fill in: agent’s phone number]. E-mail: data@microtronai.com.
If your content was removed by mistake
You can send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include your signature; the content that was removed and where it appeared; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; and a statement that you accept the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the United States, any court where we can be found), and will accept legal papers from the person who sent the notice.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyright, where it’s appropriate. Sending a false notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages. For other intellectual property complaints, such as about trademarks, e-mail us.
19. Suspending or closing accounts #
If you want to leave
You can stop using Verse at any time. To close your account, e-mail data@microtronai.com from the e-mail address on your account. Cancel any paid plans first so you aren’t charged again. Save anything you want to keep before you go.
If we suspend or close your account
We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if:
- you break these terms or the law;
- you put other people or Verse at risk;
- a payment is disputed or can’t be collected; or
- the law requires us to.
Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first. We won’t if that would put someone at risk or break the law.
What happens next
- When an account is closed, you lose access to it and its content. Unless we closed it for a serious breach, we’ll give you a reasonable chance to download your content first.
- If we close your account or stop offering Verse without you being at fault, we’ll refund the VXT you bought and haven’t spent, and the unused part of any plan you paid for.
- Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on content licences already granted, payments owed, disclaimers, liability, claims and disputes, still apply after your account is closed.
20. Disclaimers #
Please read this carefully. It limits what we promise.
We work hard to make Verse useful and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”.
As far as the law allows, we make no promises or warranties beyond those written in these terms, whether express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
In particular, we don’t promise that Verse will always be available, secure or free of errors; that your content will never be lost; that AI output will be accurate; or that services you connect will keep working.
Some places don’t allow these exclusions. There, they apply only as far as the law allows, and you keep every right the law gives you that can’t be waived.
21. Limits on our liability #
Please read this carefully. It limits what you can claim from us.
As far as the law allows, Microtron AI and its officers, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, income, data or goodwill, even if we knew they were possible.
As far as the law allows, our total liability for all claims about Verse or these terms is limited to the greater of: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event the claim is about, or US$100.
These limits apply whatever the legal basis of the claim. They don’t apply to liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
22. Your responsibility for claims #
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your use of Verse (including your workflows, apps and API calls), or your breach of these terms or the law, you’ll cover the reasonable costs and losses it causes us, including reasonable legal fees.
We’ll tell you about the claim and let you help defend it. We won’t settle it in a way that makes you admit fault without your agreement. This doesn’t apply to the extent that we caused the claim. If you use Verse as a consumer, this section applies only as far as the law allows.
23. Governing law and disputes #
- Talk to us first. If you have a problem with Verse, e-mail data@microtronai.com and describe it. Most problems can be solved this way. We’ll try to resolve it within 60 days before either of us goes to court.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of [Owner to fill in: the state whose laws apply], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
- Courts. Any dispute will be decided by the state or federal courts in [Owner to fill in: county and state of the courts], and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may use a small-claims court instead, if the claim qualifies.
- Your local rights. If you live somewhere whose law lets you bring a claim in your local courts, or under your local consumer law, nothing in these terms takes that right away.
24. Changes to Verse and to these terms #
- Changes to Verse. We may change or remove features. If a change takes away a main part of a paid feature you use, we’ll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
- Changes to these terms. When we update these terms, we change the “Last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll tell you by e-mail or in Verse at least 30 days before they take effect. Changes needed for legal or security reasons may take effect sooner.
- Your choice. If you keep using Verse after a change takes effect, the new terms apply to you. If you don’t agree, stop using Verse and cancel any plans before then.
25. General terms #
- The whole agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the feature rules we show you are the whole agreement between you and us about Verse.
- If part doesn’t work. If a court finds part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
- No waiver. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Transfers. You can’t transfer your account or these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and we’ll tell you if we do.
- Events outside our control. We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events we can’t reasonably control, such as outages at providers, natural disasters or changes in law.
- Notices. We send notices to your account’s e-mail address or show them in Verse. Send notices to us at the address in section 26.
- Trade laws. You can’t use Verse if you’re barred from receiving services under US export or sanctions laws.
- Language. If we translate these terms, the English version applies where the two differ.
