Connection

Your developer API key and secret from Verse Realm.

API secret

Stays in this browser. Verse encrypts every request with it and never sends it as is.

Keep the secret after the browser closes Turn off to keep it only until you close the browser. You'll paste it again after a restart, and scheduled shortcuts can't run until you do. Server The Verse Realm address that hosts the API. Model Leave as default to use your account's default model.

Your instructions

What Verse should know about you, and how you like answers. It's added to every request.

Instructions for Verse 0 of 2,000 characters. Verse sends this with every request on every site, so leave out passwords and other secrets.

Permissions

What Verse may do on your pages, and when it has to ask you first.

Auto mode Verse skips the questions. Tools set to Deny stay blocked, and Verse still asks before running JavaScript, typing into password or payment fields, and going to a site you didn't mention.

Site permissions

Choices for one site, made with “Always allow” in the panel. On that site they replace Ask. A tool set to Deny above stays blocked everywhere.

Sites Verse never touches One per line. Verse won't read or act on these, even in Auto mode. example.com also covers its subdomains; * matches anything.

Steps per request Verse stops and answers after this many actions. Spending limit per request In VXT. Verse stops when a request reaches it. 0 means no limit.

Background research

Questions Verse looks up in tabs of its own while you carry on. It only reads: it never clicks, types or fills anything in.

Search with Where research starts. Steps per task Searches and pages read before Verse answers with what it has. Spending limit per task In VXT. You can change it for one task when you start it. 0 means no limit. Close a task's tabs when it's done Otherwise they stay in a folded tab group, to look through. The answer lists its sources either way.

Shortcuts

Saved requests. Use them by typing / in the panel, or let them run on a schedule.

Scheduled runs open their page in a background tab and skip anything that needs your approval. You'll get a notification, and the answer is saved in the panel's conversations. Your browser has to be open. Research runs it as background research: it may search and read other sites, and never changes anything. Tell me only when it changes compares with the last run, and stays quiet when nothing did.
