What a Versona is

A Versona is your own AI character. It has a 3D body with animations, a voice, a personality (its description and traits), a knowledge base (the reference files you give it) and the tools you allow it to use. It answers from all of these, in its own voice.

• Talk to it in the Chat tab, or walk up to it in its 3D visit room.
• Give it jobs: scheduled prompts from Tasks, questions from visitors on your website, and mentions in Verse Link.
• Check its work in the Hub drawer of the visit room, which records every prompt it receives.

Make a Versona

Open Create a Versona and work down the form. Only the name, the description and a 3D model are required; everything else you can add now or later with Edit.

Look after your Versonas

• Find one: search My Versonas, or star your favorites and show only those. Favorites are saved in this browser.
• Each card has a star, Visit (opens its 3D room), Share and an info button. Clicking the card also opens its details.
• Details show the model (with View in VR when your headset supports it), its description, traits, tools, reference files and animation clips. From here you can change its voice with Save Voice, or press Edit, Export, Delete or Visit.
• Edit reopens the full form. You can change any field, replace the 3D model, and add, remove or edit reference files, then press Update Versona.
• Delete asks first, and can't be undone.
• Docs in the sidebar lists every reference file of every Versona, with a viewer and a download button.
• Share captures the 3D scene as an image, lets you edit the text, and opens Facebook, X, LinkedIn or Pinterest. For Instagram it downloads the image and copies the text.
• The terminal button opens a command line for quick changes; type /help to see its commands.

Chat with it

Open the Chat tab and choose a Versona. Its model appears on the left; type on the right. Enter sends, and Shift+Enter starts a new line.

• History and New: earlier chats are kept in this browser (the last 50). New starts a fresh one.
• Tools: on by default, so it can use the tools you gave it. Turn them off for a plain answer.
• Voice: speaks a short summary of each reply in your Versona's voice. The first time, it loads a small AI model into your browser to write the summary. Read Aloud on any reply speaks it in full.
• Attach: add a text file (.txt, .md, .csv or .json) to the next message for context. Attachments are read as plain text, so give PDF and Word documents to your Versona as reference files instead.

Visit room and Hub

Visit on a card or in its details opens your Versona in a 3D world. Now and then it strikes up a conversation on its own, and its replies appear in a speech bubble.

• Look around: click the world to steer the view with your mouse, and press Esc to let go. Pick one of 19 worlds from the World panel, or switch with Alt+Left and Alt+Right.
• Click your Versona for its menu: Chat, Voice command, Move to a point, Follow me, Explore around and About.
• VR and AR buttons appear when your device supports them. In AR you tap to place your Versona and can move it later.
• The Hub button opens your Versona's control desk. Activity lists every prompt it received, from any page, with a step-by-step view of how it answered and a Replay button. Stats charts its activity by source over 7 to 365 days. Test sends a prompt of your own.
• Graphics adjust to your computer by themselves. If the room runs slowly, add ?graphics=off to the page address.

Put it to work

• Scheduled tasks: press Tasks in the sidebar. Choose a Versona, write the prompt, set a date and time, and pick Once, Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly. Tasks run by themselves; you can also run one now or delete it, and see them all on a calendar.
• Your website (Versona Web): in Export, choose Versona Web and add your site. Your Versona reads the site's pages so it can answer questions about them. Set the corner, colour, greeting and suggested questions, turn on voice replies if you want them, and set a daily cap and a per-visitor limit. Then install it with the snippet or a WordPress, React, Vue or Angular package. Preview and the install guide show how it will look.
• Verse Link: mention it by name (@Name) in a room, and it answers there.
• Calls: the whiteboard's Ask AI can use any of your Versonas.
• Workflows: the Versona Desktop node's Send Chat to Versona puts it inside an automation.
• Developers can reach it through the developer API (/api/Verse/versonaChat) with an API key.

Export it

In the Export tab, choose a format. For the per-Versona formats, pick the Versona under Select Versona to Export and press Export Selected Versona.

• Versona Realm: downloads Versona Chat, the desktop app for Windows 10 and 11. It's the Versona app on its own, not the whole Verse suite, and it isn't tied to one Versona, so there's nothing to pick.
• Versona Web: puts your Versona on your own website (see Put it to work).
• TRAVERSE: opens your Versonas in the Verse desktop.
• 3D Model & Data: a zip with the 3D model, a data file describing the Versona, and its reference files.

What costs VXT

• Creating a Versona on the Free plan. Paid plans include a number of Versonas; the banner on the Create form shows yours.
• Tests and replays in the Hub, at the price shown on the button. If the reply fails, you get the VXT back.
• Replies on your website through Versona Web. Voice replies add a small second charge, and the daily cap keeps the total in check.
• Making a model from a photo, once it launches. Paid plans will include some each month.

Tips

• Start from a preset when you want a working Versona quickly, then use Edit to make it yours.
• Keep models light: a .glb under about 50 MB loads quickly on the cards, in chat and in the visit room. Include a standing idle and a walking clip so it can move around its room.
• Write the description as instructions: its role, its audience, its tone, and what it should not do.
• Five to ten traits that really describe it work better than a long list.
• Choose only the tools it needs, so its answers stay on topic.
• Reference files: give it focused, up-to-date documents, and remove old ones with Edit.
• After a change, test it: open its visit room, press Hub, and send a prompt from Test.

Troubleshooting

• The model doesn't appear: the file must be a valid .glb. Try Preview 3D Model first; if it's blank there too, re-export the model from your 3D tool.
• "No animations detected": the file has no clips. Your Versona still works but stands still. Add clips in your 3D tool and upload the model again with Edit.
• It sits or lies down when it should stand: open Edit and choose a standing clip for Idle. The Hub suggests one when it can read the model's legs.
• "Plan limit" when creating: you have as many Versonas as your plan includes. Delete one or upgrade.
• "Need X VXT": top up your balance and press Create Versona again.
• A reference file won't attach: only .txt, .pdf, .docx, .xlsx and .xls are accepted. Images aren't.
• The voice doesn't play: try Preview Voice, choose another voice, or refresh the page.
• A reply failed or looks wrong: open its visit room, press Hub, and find the prompt in Activity. The step-by-step view shows where it went wrong.
• The visit room is slow: it lowers its own graphics as it goes. Add ?graphics=off to the address to turn the effects off.
• You're sent to the sign-in page: your session ended. Sign in again; nothing you saved is lost.
